We understand how important roommate selection is to your college experience. Illini Tower provides a roommate matching service to assist you request future roommates, or assign you according to your lifestyle preferences.
Mutual roommates must BOTH request each other. Roommates will not be assigned together if only one person requests the other resident as a roommate. Both you and your preferred roommate should complete your contracts by June 15th. Meeting the June 15 priority deadline greatly increases the likelihood that you will be assigned together.
No room or roommate changes may be requested after the assignment process has started: June 15th (Fall semester) and December 15 (Spring semester). After the tenth day of classes, room changes are considered only after the residents involved have made a serious attempt (following the procedure as it is outlined in the lease) to adjust to and/or remedy the situation. Requests for room changes must be approved by the Assistant General Manager.
Roommate Preference Sheet
April 5 – June 15
Below is the link to the online version of the Roommate Preference Form. Fill out the form before the priority deadline (June 15th) to increase the likelihood of being placed with the roommate of your choice. This ONLINE VERSION will only be available between April 5 and June 15. There will be a paper version of this form after the priority deadline of June 15th.

After June 15
Simply download (via the forms and resources section of the website) and complete the form following the instructions below.
Please email the completed sheet as a Your First Last Name.doc attachment to roomies@illinitower.net. Additionally, in the Subject Line of the email put your first and last name. (It is imperative that you put your first and last name in the subject line of the email. This will make it easier to access your file if corrections need to be made.) If we do not receive it, we'll email you. Otherwise, assume we have received it.
If you have corrections later, fill out a new sheet and keep your old one. Email roomies@illinitower.net, stating that the attachment is a new personal data sheet and should replace the old one.
